About Me

Aneliz Alvarez.

She grows up and lives most of her life in Cancun, Mexico.
Mexican painter and muralist whose work focuses on portraying human expression and awakening collective awareness about social problems and universal values.
Indigenous tribes, Mexican culture and that of other nations, travel, and nature are some of the things that inspire her work.
She has collaborated with different altruistic causes for Argentina and South Africa as well with private projects for the US and Canada.
Ane has been awarded the PECDA 2018 grant for her project “Donna Stima, Belleza y Mujer“, portraying women’s self-esteem through art and has awarded the first prize in the International Streetart and Illustration Award of the Festival della Resilienzia in Italy, 2020 for her work on “Communication during Confinement.”
She has been invited to participate in national and international mural festivals and her mural work can be appreciated in Mexico, Finland, Spain, Austria, Italy and Germany.
